Marvel’s The Defenders

The series follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand/Iron Fist, a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

The 8-episode first season of The Defenders arrives on Netflix on August 18, 2017. Here’s the first official trailer.

House of Cards Season 5

Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump stars Tom Hanks as a friendly, simpleminded man, who finds himself in the middle of nearly every major event of the 1960s and ’70s.

Pretty Little Liars Season 7A

The first half of Pretty Little Liars season 7 will find the Liars teaming-up to unearth answers to the last remaining secrets and take down “Uber A” for good in the most romantic season of PLL yet.

Sense8

In Sense8 Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organization searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this organization that is out to hunt and kill them.

Chocolat

Released in 2000, Chocolat is about a single mother and her young daughter who move into a peaceful French village and open a chocolate shop during the height of Lent. At first, the shop’s rich, sensuous desserts scandalize the town. But the villagers soon learn to savor the sweetness.

Scream

Released in 1996, Scream follows a high school girl and her friends who are stalked by a serial killer who’s obsessed with horror movies.

It stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox.

‘Stranger Things’ to get darker in season 2

Netflix breakout series, Stranger Things, is going to be “more dark,” when the series returns for its second season. Actor Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, has shared the teasing scoop during a recent interview of the cast with Emmy Magazine.

“There are going to be some challenges the characters face that are real, that are disturbing,” the actor shared.

“This season will be a lot more dark, a lot more horror-oriented. I think people are going to like it better than the first season.”
